“ My new favorite teriyaki restaurant in the neighborhood. Nothing special, but delicious! I ordered a teriyaki plate, yakisoba and a chicken katsu dish. Ordering was easy, it was quick and service was fantastic. ”

“ Placed an online order for pick up, chicken teriyaki and katsu with a side of gyoza. It was very good. Katsu was tender and crispy, but not overly fried. The chicken teriyaki was moist and really good. I really liked the sauce because it was a good balance and not overly sweet. When I got to the restaurant, my order was ready to be picked up at the time they said. The lady at the front desk was really nice when giving me my order and when she was talking with the other customers. There are a couple tables but you can tell this is more of a take out place. We were in the area and knew Kenji recommended this spot, so it was a must try and we were glad we did. I was able to share the meal with my boyfriend and it was enough for us. I recommend this place. ”

“ Got boneless chicken teriyaki. Almost everything about the food was solid. Salad was fresh. Rice was properly clumpy. Although it's pricey, plenty of chicken for two average stomach people. Sauce was good. The one disappointment and arguably the most important part was how dry the chicken was. This was surprising because it's a kenjo Lopez fav spot. Maybe it's a one off but it's a good deal overall. No issues with service. Small amount of seating for small groups. Mainly a carryout spot. ”

“ Very basic but delicious food. Veggie stir fry and veggie spring rolls are so good. Portions are huge and the rice is really well cooked! They don't have a ton of condiment options but the beverage selection plus flavor packed food definitely fill in the gaps. Their rice is so good I literally just came in for a quick lunch of rice and Kimchee. Yum! Everything is packed to-go so you can take your leftovers with you. The staff are friendly and attentive, and make good suggestions. It's worth getting here with the construction kind of blocking the way! ”

At first, I was hesitant about the price because where I'm from, restaurants charge for sides of rice and extra sauce. I Love Teriyaki gives you a side salad, a great portion of protein and rice, WITH extra teriyaki sauce that is to die for, all under $20! The service was amazing as the food. This family restaurant was quick and handed me my food less than 10mins after ordering. Please don't be intimidated by their long lines, there is a reason why people wait in their line for such amazing teriyaki (and you don't wait long either) I highly recommend this place and will be thinking about their teriyaki everyday... ”
